Our Open Road Tolling (ORT) solution uses a highly advanced, phased-array positioning system to track the path of up to 128 transponders as they move through the tolling point. Coupled with overhead laser vehicle detection and classification scanners, this system provides exceptional matching of transponders to vehicles and identification of violators or video tolling customers.
A permanent gantry service walkway, captive mounting fasteners and tethered tools permit technicians to perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs without closing the lanes below to traffic.
Our ORT technology partner is Raytheon Highway Traffic Management Systems.
Raytheon HTMS pioneered the world's first ORT system for the 407ETR in
Toronto. And has since deployed large ORT systems around the world.
