The TRMI Team continues to work towards implementing a new and fully upgraded Toll Collection System for the McAllen-Hidalgo and Anzalduas International Bridges. All gates, PFDs, height detectors, and lane computers have been successfully updated on both bridges. Following extensive testing and monitoring, on September 30th, the existing system was replaced with the new and upgraded system, resulting in a seamless transfer with no delays in traffic. TRMI staff remains on site for assistance and supervision of system operations at every step of the installation process, ensuring to continually engage with McAllen personnel to address any questions or concerns. The concluding actions in the upgrade involve further supervision of the operating system, conducting a performance acceptance test, and a final meeting with McAllen to discuss any outstanding issues.
