Late October 2018, Brownsville & Matamoros Bridge Company representatives John Hopkins, President and COO, and Oscar Delgado, Director of Finance, traveled to TRMI headquarters to oversee the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of their Toll Collection System (TCS) Upgrade. The FAT is a major project milestone, conducted prior to installation, to test the system in accordance to test plans and specifications. The customized testing procedure verifies that the system upgrade is complete.
Live testing and demonstration of the system’s functionality confirmed that the system design met all of B&M’s system requirements. The approval of the FAT authorizes scheduling of the system to be shipped, deployed and installed onsite. TRMI plans to have B&M’s upgrade fully operational in December 2018.
