Meet Jeff Decker, Treadle Shop Manager

Posted on Posted in News

Meet Jeff Decker, TRMI’s Treadle Shop Manager and longest term employee. In 1981, Jeff was hired as an assistant bookkeeper and payroll clerk for TRMI and Rosakranse Masonry (Robert Rosakranse’s former company). Within a few short years, he was promoted to Purchasing Manager and then began working in the treadle shop manufacturing TRMI’s proprietary 4 contact treadles at that time. After the closing of our materials supplier Manhattan Goodall in 1991, Robert Rosakranse purchased and transported the entire line of treadle manufacturing equipment to the TRMI Facility in Accord, NY. Jeff worked beside and learned from Goodall technicians to reassemble the vulcanization manufacturing process, as well as how to operate and maintain the equipment.
Jeff’s hard work and diligence eventually earned him the Treadle Shop Manager position, where he is responsible for all operations in the Treadle Department- including rubber extrusion, treadle fabrication and testing, and maintenance of the extensive treadle press equipment. Through his 36 years of experience, Jeff has become an indispensable element to the TRMI process through his vast knowledge of the field. Thank you, Jeff, for numerous years of continuous commitment to TRMI!
