Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge is Now Toll Free

Posted on Posted in News

Since 1998, TRMI has been the sole provider of software and hardware for toll collection at the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge. For 26 years, TRMI has supported the Community Bridge through operations, allowing for over 35,000,000 vehicle crossings in total. It is with pride that TRMI announces the conclusion of our tenured relationship as they transition to a toll-free crossing.

As of April 30, 2024, The Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge Transportation Development District (Community Bridge TDD) has terminated the collection of toll charges to vehicular traffic using the Community Bridge due to all outstanding mortgage bonds and all other remaining and/or anticipated liabilities of the Community Bridge TDD have been fully repaid. The Community Bridge TDD previously estimated that the Community Bridge would be toll-free in 2026.

The Community Bridge connects the East and West sides of the Lake of the Ozarks near the 16-mile marker of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks. The facility will now become toll-free two (2) years earlier than estimated. The Community Bridge is expected to remain toll-free under the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.

TRMI has been honored to have worked with Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge for so many years! Over the course of this time, we have implemented several upgrades to the system as well as developed lengthy and mutually respected relationships with the staff. Not many businesses can make that claim about their customers, we have been very lucky to have customers who trust and appreciate our efforts to provide the best service we can to them.

A special thanks to Jim Werner and the staff of the Community Bridge. TRMI wishes you all the best on your future endeavors!
